Research
Kristin Osborn is the Co-Director of the Psychotherapy Research Program, led by Leigh McCullough, PH.D. at Harvard Medical School at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. The Psychotherapy Research Program at HMS has been instrumental in developing the ATOS scale which can be viewed at www.affectphobia.org. Currently Kristin is actively involved in studying the non-verbal interaction between therapist and patients and is creating a scale to accompany the ATOS called ATOS Therapist. Recently www.atostrainer.com has been launched to assist students and master therapist with learning how to use the ATOS. This website uses American Psychological Association DVDs of master therapist to assist clinicians with learning how to code affect, inhibition, and defenses.
